The concept of virtual farming was new to me until the establishment of RenewMe. This initiative has enlightened me to the merits of remote monitoring, eliminating the need for physical presence to oversee the project. I belief in the vision and mission of RenewMe and the ongoing activities to implement and apply technologies such as blockchain, AI and data science to support local farmers to optimize, increase yields and even predict for efficiency in food production. Transparency of Renew impressed the most, continuous monitoring of the agriculture, definition of potential risks in timely manner and also good communication with stakeholders by providing regular progress updates. This enlarged the world for me as "hobby-farmer-engineer" and increased my interest in RenewMe.
